Whether you are passionate about nail artistry, skincare, hair design, barbering, massage and wellness, or full-service cosmetology, MH Beauty Academy offers training designed to help you develop practical skills and professional confidence. Each program combines classroom learning with hands-on practice in a supportive school environment.

Our flexible schedule allows students to study at their own pace until the required hours are completed. Classes are available seven days a week, generally from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, at our San Jose campus. Program hours, tuition, kit inclusions, and licensing information vary by program; please review the individual program page or contact the school for current details.

Facial / Esthetician Program

600 hours | Skincare, facials, hair removal, and makeup Develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to provide professional skincare services. Training includes skin analysis, manual and electrical facials, chemical exfoliation, extractions, facial massage, waxing, eyebrow shaping, makeup application, false lashes, sanitation, and client care.
Ideal for: Students who are interested in skincare, spa services, brows, lashes, waxing, or esthetics.

Cosmetology (Hair ) Program

1,000 hours | Haircutting, styling, color, and chemical services Build a strong foundation in the art and science of hair design. Students practice precision cutting, blow-drying, thermal styling, braiding, formal styling, hair coloring, bleaching, highlights, permanent waving, chemical relaxing, scalp care, and professional client consultation.
Ideal for: Students who want to pursue a career as a hairstylist, colorist, salon professional, or independent hair artist.

Barber Program

1,000 hours | Fades, shaving, beard design, and men’s grooming Master traditional and modern barbering in a hands-on training environment. The program covers precision haircutting, skin fades, tapers, clipper and scissor work, straight-razor shaves, hot towel treatments, beard and mustache design, men’s skincare, chemical services, sanitation, and barbershop business practices.
Ideal for: Students who want to specialize in barbering, men’s grooming, fade design, or barbershop ownership.

Therapy Program

1,000 hours | Massage, bodywork, and holistic wellness Explore the foundations of therapeutic massage and wellness practices through anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, hands-on massage techniques, body treatments, and professional ethics. Training includes Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point work, reflexology, hot stone therapy, aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, and client safety.
Ideal for: Students interested in massage, bodywork, spa wellness, athletic recovery, or holistic client care.

Cosmetology (Full Program )

1,600 hours | Comprehensive beauty and full-service salon training Prepare for a broader career in beauty with an all-inclusive program covering hair design and chemical services, professional skincare and esthetics, manicuring, and nail technology. With theory and extensive hands-on practice, students develop the versatility needed to deliver multiple services and contribute to or manage a full-service salon. Ideal for: Students who want the most comprehensive beauty education and the flexibility to work across multiple service areas.
