The Cosmetology (Full Program) (1,600 Hours) at MH Beauty Academy is our most comprehensive, all-inclusive beauty education program designed to meet the full 1,600-hour licensing requirements of the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
This program equips students with complete, multi-disciplinary expertise across all major sectors of the beauty industry: hair design and chemical servicing, professional skin care and esthetics, as well as manicuring and nail technology. Through intensive theoretical studies and extensive hands-on practical experience in our modern facility, graduates emerge as versatile, highly skilled beauty professionals capable of providing full-service treatments and managing full-service salons.

- Comprehensive Health & Safety: Master sanitation, sterilization, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), hazardous chemical precautions, and California State Board laws and regulations.
- Complete Hair Design & Chemical Services: Master precision hair cutting, blow-drying, thermal styling, chemical hair coloring, bleaching, permanent waving, chemical relaxing, and scalp care.
- Professional Esthetics & Skin Care: Perform manual, electrical, and chemical facials, skin analysis, extractions, facial massage, hair removal/waxing, and professional makeup application.
- Advanced Nail Care & Enhancements: Master manicures, pedicures, acrylics, UV/LED gels, dip powders, nail repairs, and electric file operations.
- Cross-Disciplinary Integration: Perform multi-service client consultations and build a holistic understanding of total beauty care.
- Salon Management & Entrepreneurship: Develop essential business ethics, client retention strategies, marketing, salesmanship, and salon administration skills.

As a licensed Cosmetologist with full 1,600-hour training, your career options are virtually unlimited. Graduates can perform hair, skin, and nail services in full-service salons, luxury spas, resort medical spas, or establish their own beauty enterprises. Job placement assistance is provided upon graduation.
