Beauty education is more than learning individual techniques. It is about understanding clients, working safely, building consistent results, and developing the confidence to grow in a professional setting.
Our programs combine theory with hands-on training in areas such as hair design, barbering, skincare, nail technology, massage and wellness. Students can choose a focused specialty or pursue comprehensive training through the Cosmetology Full Program. Hands-on training
Students learn by practicing the techniques they will use in professional beauty and wellness settings. Depending on the program, hands-on training may include haircutting, styling, chemical services, facials, skincare treatments, nail enhancements, massage techniques, or spa body treatments.
Flexible scheduling
Our programs are designed to accommodate different student schedules. The program pages describe flexible study options, allowing students to progress at their own pace until the required hours are completed. Classes are generally available seven days a week from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Health, safety, and sanitation
Professional beauty and wellness services require careful attention to sanitation, infection control, chemical safety, client health, and workplace practices. These topics are integrated into the program curricula to help students build safe and responsible professional habits.
Instructor guidance
Students receive direct guidance while developing technical skills and client-service techniques. Our learning environment is designed to support questions, practice, feedback, and steady improvement throughout the training process.
Career-focused preparation
In addition to technical services, students develop professional skills such as client consultation, communication, record keeping, product recommendations, retail awareness, ethics, and basic business or salon operations. These skills help students prepare for a range of opportunities across the beauty and wellness industry.
A pathway toward professional goals
Upon completion, eligible students receive official documentation to apply for the applicable California State Board licensing examination, as described on the individual program page.
